K-tip chef knife in stainless Damasteel, two piece buckeye burl and carbon fiber handle.
My interpretation of a K-tip chef knife made with Stainless Damasteel Hugin.
The steel of the blade is mirror polished Damasteel in the pattern Hugin, with a full flat zero grind resulting in a blade with a very sharp edge. The steel has been heat treated to a high hardness producing a blade that retains its edge far longer than "normal" softer chef knives.
The handle is fashioned from two pieces of stabilized buckeye burl and carbon fiber. The pattern of the blade continues around the full tang of the handle.
Total length: Approx. 28,5 cm
Blade length: Approx 17 cm

Steel: 2.5 mm thick Damasteel* in the pattern Hugin. Made in Söderfors, Sweden.
Blade profile: Full flat zero grind with small secondary edge bevel.
Edge angle: 16 degrees

Handle material: two piece buckeye burl with carbon fiber inlay and carbon fiber pins.
Marked with "C" on the left face of the blade near the handle.
